Pediatric rehabilitation is a subspecialty of rehabilitation medicine, focusing on the prevention, assessment, and management of functional impairments in children with special needs. It primarily targets children with functional impairments, which, besides motor dysfunction caused by diseases, also encompass various mental disorders, speech and language delays, and so on.

For children with existing problems, various assessments are conducted to evaluate their current situation. Based on the actual situation of the child, child rehabilitation therapy is carried out, including motor therapy, physical agent therapy, sensory integration therapy, multi-sensory therapy, hydrotherapy, speech therapy, family rehabilitation, psychological rehabilitation, and rehabilitation aids.
